A stunning Diamond & Sapphire gypsy ring featuring three deep blue sapphires that are of good quality, interspaced with four glimmering diamonds of equally excellent quality. 

A really pleasing, substantial ring.

There is very slight general age related surface wear to the sapphires, see the macro photographs provided.

This gorgeous piece has been superbly made and would be a wonderful addition to any jewellery collection.

Very minor age related wear to the gemstones facets.
One of the diamonds is single cut, the others are old mine cuts. 

All items are Antique or vintage, expect some signs of wear consistent with age and use.

Hallmarks:

Fully hallmarked for 18ct

Antique jewellery (ie. Georgian/ Victorian) was often not hallmarked, as compulsory hallmarking of all precious metals did not begin until the 1920’s, only becoming law in 1973. Consequently assay offices carry a pre-1950’s exemption from hallmarking. This means that any piece pre-dating the 1950’s that is not hallmarked is exempt from the normal requirements of the assay office.
